As a Support Team Leader, you will assist the Deputy Manager to help drive the success of the service by creating a positive, supportive environment where both the people we support and your team can thrive.

A Genuine Occupational Requirement applies under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. This role is therefore only open to male​ candidates, referring to the sex legally assigned at birth.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. 

​​A day in the life of a Support Team Leader would include:

  • Supporting the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice
  • Providing guidance and direction to colleagues/ new starters
  • Continuously reviewing care plans ensuring exciting updates and progress are always recorded
  • Completing medication audits
  • Ordering medication when needed
  • Being on call (on a rota basis)
  • Managing staff spot checks

Hours:  ​Part Time - 24 hours per work

This would be a mixture of shifts between 8am – 10pm, Monday – Sunday.

You would be required to work alternate weekends and complete sleep ins (sleep ins come with an additional payment).

​What we are looking for:

  • Level 2 Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Autism and working with challenging behaviour 
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals
  • Administration skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including sleep ins and on call shifts.​
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • A full UK drivers license and access to a car
